Access to safe drinking water
Austria is a country known for it's very good access to clean water. It is known that 100% of the countries' population, rich or poor, has access to safe drinking water. In Austria, there are water supply and water waste control, non-profit community-run projects. These projects are run by citizens within communities. This gives the population an active role in the controlling of water supply. Austria has been able to find clean fresh water sources and at the same time has maintained the water sanitation. Technology is being used, to find economically and environmentally positive ways to sustain the access to safe drinking water. (Position Paper)
