Access to safe drinking water in Mozambique:
As estimated in 2012 by CIA World Fact book, the drinking water improved for:
80.3% of the population in the Urban area.
35% of the population in the Rural area.
49.2% for all the population.
This means that these populations used water which came from pipes to their homes, yard, public tap or standpipe and protected dug wells.
However, there were also a part of the population which received water from unprotected dug wells, unprotected spring, and carts with small tanks. There were forms of unimproved drinking water in the following areas for:
19.7% of the population in the Urban area.
65% of the population in the Rural area.

53.37 years for the females.
This indicates the number of years a newborn Mozambican infant would live if the usual pattern of death at the time of its birth were to stay the same constantly. Life expectancy also gives the thought of how much people earn from their investments. This suggests that the economy got slightly better and unemployment decreased by 1%.
